Levy is mandatory when renewing iqama if dependents do not leave the country

If the dependents of the final exit visa do not leave the country, the dependents will also have to pay the levy and iqama renewal fee when the parent renews the iqama, Javasat said. Javasat's explanation was in response to a foreigner's question.

His iqama ends on the 30th of this month. The wife and children will be given a final exit on the 25th. But his wife and children will leave Saudi Arabia only on December 20. In this case, the question is whether he can renew his iqama only on the 30th of this month.

Javasat clarified that even if the wife and children are given the final exit, they will have to pay the dependent levy and iqama fee if they do not leave the country at the time of renewal of the parent’s iqama.
