Javasat has started free renewal of expired iqamas of Saudi expatriates stranded in the country.
This year, the iqamah has been extended for free until Dhul Hijjah 21 or July 31.
At the same time, the iqamahs of many who have expired do not seem to have been renewed. Many are still waiting, hoping to renew their iqama in the coming hours.
