The National Anti-Benami Program has launched a new phase of utilizing innovative technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, to find benami businesses and partners in benami businesses. The services of 20 departments are being utilized through Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics to detect benami business cases and apprehend and prosecute violators.

Commerce Ministry spokesman Abdurrahman al-Hussein said the surveillance style of finding benami businesses had changed drastically.

In the past, benami companies have been found to have taken action by conducting direct inspections of businesses and private companies and investigating complaints. Currently, the data on 20 government departments are linked to the fight against benami business and more than 120 clues have been identified to help identify suspicious benami entities. Abdurrahman al-Hussein said that after the electronic reading and data analysis, the Commerce Ministry would deploy teams to investigate and prosecute violators of suspected benami establishments operating in various provinces.
