The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Saudi Ports Authority and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The aim is to create more jobs for the natives in companies operating in ports across the country. The first phase of the project will be implemented by four companies in the Jeddah Islamic Port. The project will be launched at Red Sea Gateway Terminal, Dubai Ports World, Samil Offshore Services and Mansoor Al Musaad Trading and Contracting. In the first phase, more than 300 jobs in 23 sectors of these companies will be Saudiized.
An earlier agreement between the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Transport was to create 45,000 jobs in the transport logistics sector. Part of this is the new Saudiization plan. Currently, many foreigners, i, are working in this field.
