Preparations for Ramadan have been announced at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

The Prophet's Mosque in Madinah was also ready to receive the holy month of Ramadan. Preparations to receive believers are being made with strong guidance in the context of Kovid. Authorities said they have taken steps to receive pilgrims who specialize in Ramadan. In the Kovid context, prayers were held here last year with very few people, including Haram officials.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Masjid-un-Nabawi Taraweeh prayers will be closed within half an hour and will reopen two hours before the Fajr prayers, officials said. During the last ten days of Ramadan, entry to the mosque of the Prophet will be allowed at all times. Prayers will also be allowed during Ramadan in the developed areas of the mosque.
According to Kovid's precautions, the Prophet's mosque currently has a capacity of 45,000. The western part of Ramadan can accommodate an additional 15,000 people and can accommodate 60,000 people at a time.

Sheikh Abdurrahman Abdul Aziz Al Sudais, the head of both harams, announced the preparations and precautions for receiving the believers in the mosque of the Prophet during Ramadan. The plan also includes measures to be taken during Ramadan and Eid. In addition to the precautionary measures taken during Sha'ban and Ramadan, preparations have been made to deal with crises.
